Tracey Marino is originally from Boston, Massachusetts, and lived in Houston, Texas, where, at a young age, she developed an appreciation for folk and country music and could play just about anything by ear. She was trained in jazz and classical piano and plays various keyboards, electric and pipe organ, calliope, percussion, and other instruments. She also sings and directs choirs.
Vance Marino is originally from Oahu, Hawai'i, and lived in Phoenix, Arizona, where he toured with a country band. He plays all types of guitar (acoustic, electric, classical), ukulele, mandolin, many stringed instruments, bass, drums, and sings. While in school, he studied producing and arranging. Vance teaches private online songwriting lessons.
Tracey and Vance Marino have two Pro Tools studios in San Diego, California, and they offer professional music feedback sessions, coaching, guidance, and consultations to those who are serious about writing for sync.
